People of different sexual orientations and gender expressions/identities have been ordained as clergy, have shared in the pulpit, and have served in other leadership roles. Our clergy have celebrated and officiated same gender marriages, and we have walked beside friends and family who have journeyed through identity transitions.

All are Made in the Image of God

We affirm that all individuals are fully made in the image of God, should have full civil protections under the law, and deserve to have robust and flourishing lives.

Denominational Partners

We partner with several Baptist organizations that share our value of fully welcoming members of the LGBTQ+ community. While many outside of the Baptist world may not know about these groups, we appreciate their work and find them valuable colleagues in our work for justice in the world.
